Before your charter yacht, you can carefully consider where you want to navigate.
Like the poster said Jason Affairs, Sporades is good and the winds are not so bad, but no marinas. Skopelos has a good harbor. Skiathos very modest.
If you plan to observe about sailing in the Cyclades, that the Meltemi wind very strong and it is often not navigate the situation. If no Meltemi, no wind, then you have to go through the engine.
The Cyclades are very beautiful, but they are hell for sailors. There are marinas and harbors are often outside the city. The port of Santorini is the best nightmare. It is difficult to find water.

@ Airpol: I have completely forgotten the islands .... has long been ... and you're right, it would be the best place in the summer.
PS I recommend, also in Sicily and the Aeolian Islands, a Day. The marina in the letters and Milazzo.
Turkey has the most beautiful ports and sailing in Marmaris Turgutreis is simply beautiful with many bays. Sailing iaround Antalya in summer is not a good idea, too hot and too saver, but strongly recommended for fall.
