If they are red, small, hard bumps (eg, buttons) are probably just ingrown hairs and should disappear soon. If you are larger (eg greater than one quarter inch), full of pus, or painful, are likely to be infected. As they say, has 2 weeks that ingrown hairs are now gone. If so, place the wax and razor right now and see a doctor. If you wax, you may have a staph infection cases in which antibiotics are needed. Better safe than sorry.
